“Through His Eyes”
I am a photo and video enthusiast that loves shooting images and video of just about anything. Creation is very interesting. When it’s viewed through the lens of a camera or a camcorder, you discover just how fantastic and amazing things really are! Our Creator had lot in mind when He created us and added such things of beauty around us. I will share different shots from time to time and hopefully you will enjoy them as much as I do.
As a teenager I was fascinated with photography (picture taking as we referred to it). My first real camera was a Canon TX 35 mm film type. I purchased this camera at a pawn shop in Fayetteville NC in the early 70’s. Later I found a Vivitar Series 1 lens 28-90 MM macro 1:2.8-3.5. I thought it was the greatest. Little did I know what was going to be developed in the age to come. This baby served me well for all of those years and it’s still in great working condition today.
Canon TX Film camera
Moving to the digital age I purchased a Canon T3I crop sensor camera. It has also served well and in the near future I plan to buy a full frame camera. But for now I use the T3I to shoot photos and videos.
I didn’t by a full frame camera but now I own a Canon 70D. It has a fantastic focus and tracking system for the video professional and enthusiast. Can’t wait to shoot with this monster!
I upgraded my multimedia fleet recently. I traded some of my old gear and upgraded to full frame cameras. The Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 5D Mark III full frame and the Canon 7D Mark II is a crop sensor camera. Also I purchased a Canon XA-11 camcorder. So far I have really enjoyed shooting with all of my new equipment.
